Awarding of the President’s Colours and University Colours to General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University

The President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, His Excellency Ranil Wickremesinghe, awarded the President’s Colours and University Colours to the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on August 25, 2022,  in recognition of its four decades of extensive, exceptional, and immeasurable service to the nation in the higher education sector in Sri Lanka for ensuring and maintaining the nation’s security, as well as of its undeniable contribution from its inception in 1980 to the realization of sustainable development in the country.
