Faculty of Graduate Studies of Kotelawala Defence University commenced nine (09) Master’s Degree Programmes namely MSc in Management, MBA in Logistics Management, Master of Laws in International Law, Master of Laws in Business Law, Master of Laws in Public Law, MSc in Strategic Studies and International Relations, MSc in Civil and Structural Engineering, MSc in Electrical Engineering and MSc in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Programmes for the year 2022, on 21^st April 2022, at the FGS Auditorium. Nearly 170 candidates were registered for the said Master’s programmes.

Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil (Ind), Vice Chancellor of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, warmly welcomed all the new candidates to the newly inaugurated Master’s programmes of Faculty of Graduate Studies, KDU. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Professor K KapilaC K Perera, Secretary, Ministry of Education of Sri Lanka.

During the keynote address Professor Kapila CK Perera stressed on how everyone can explote the present day global challenges and make those challenges to be opportunities to create new systems and ways of life for the betterment of mankind.

Deputy Vice Chancellors, Deans, BoS Chairmen, Registrar, Programme Coordinators and other faculty members attended this function. In keeping with the KDU tradition, a memento was presented Professor Kapila CK Perera for gracing the occasion and delivering the keynote address as the Chief Guest.
