Brigadier NK Wadugodapitiya RSP psc is from Light Infantry Regiment, and joined the Sri Lanka Army as an Officer Cadet in 1985. He has held various appointments in his capacity including the Deputy Commandant of the Army Command and Staff College. Brigadier NK Wadugodapitiya is an alumnus of Army Command and Staff College. He was appointed as the Director, Institute of Post Graduate Studied (IPGS) during the period 2011 to 2012. Brigadier NK Wadugodapitiya retired on 17^th March 2020 from active service upon reaching 55 years of age.
