Major General WPAK Thilakarathne psc

Major General Adeepa Thilakarathna joined the Sri Lanka Army on 10 June 1986 at General Sir John Kotelawela Academy as an Officer Cadet, and then commissioned to Sri Lanka Signals Corps. He has served in several appointments in his career and capacity and was the Commandant of the School of Signals, prior to becoming the Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies of General Sir John Kotelawela Defence University in 2014. Major General Thilakarathna is an alumnus of the prestigious Asia Pacific Centre for Strategic Studies (APCSS), Hawaii, USA. He was the chief instructor of the officer carrier development center, prior to becoming the Chief signal officer of the Sri Lanka army. Subsequently, Major General adheepa Thilakarathna got retired from active service on 24th Jan 2021 upon reaching 55 years of age.
