The 34^th General Convocation 2023 was held on the 03^rd and 04^th of October 2023 at the BMICH. A total of 142 Graduands were conferred with various Post Graduate Degrees by General SHS Kottegoda (Retd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc, the Chancellor of the university. Among them two received the Doctor of Philosophy degree, one received a Masters of Philosophy degree, 103 received Master’s degrees, 27 received Bachelor’s degrees, and 09 received Post Graduate Diplomas.

MS ITK Thisera was awarded the trophy for the best overall performance in the MSc in Management Degree programme, MS TC Lekamge was awarded the trophy for the  best overall performance in the MBA E- Governance Degree programme, Ms RMNT Nimedha was awarded the trophy for the  best overall performance in the MBA in Logistics Management Degree programme, Ms HACD Senevirathna was awarded the trophy for the best overall performance in the  MSc in Disaster Risk Reduction and Development  Degree programme, Ms PD Roshanthi  was awarded the trophy for the best overall performance in the BSc Management Degree programme. The Honourable Ranil Wickramasinghe, the President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, graced the final session of the convocation as the Chief Guest.
