General Convocation 2022 of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University was ceremonially held at the BMICH on 10^th and 11^th of November 2022, and its first three sessions were successfully completed with the participation of the Vice Chancellor, Major General Milinda Peiris RWP RSP VSV USP ndc whilst the Chancellor, General Gerard Hector de Silva (Retired) RWP VSV USP ndc graced the occasion as the Chief Guest with eminent academia.

The final session of General Convocation 2022 of KDU was held on 11^th November 2022, and Honourable Ranil Wickramasinghe, the President of the democratic socialist republic of Sri Lanka grace the occasion as the chief guest with lot of dignitaries as well as academia.

113 candidates consisting of Tri-Services, Police as well as Executive Officers in Public and Private Sector became graduated for further higher studies, who have followed Doctoral and Master’s Degree programmes from the Faculty of Graduate Studies, KDU and its affiliated institutes.
