Newly appointed Professor Charitha L Goonasekara took over the duties as the 7^th Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies on 15^th May 2023. A formal ceremony was held with the participation of all the faculty staff.

Dean Faculty of Graduate Studies Professor Charitha L Goonasekara holds a Postdoctoral fellow from University of British Columbia, 2008-2010. PhD in Biochemistry – Memorial from University of Newfoundland, Canada, 2008 and BSc (Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Special) from University of Colombo, 2002.
