The Faculty of Graduate Studies of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University commenced its first postgraduate programme for international students, which is a one year Master of Business Administration Degree Programme and is for the academic year 2024-2025. The inauguration of the programme was held on 15th July 2024 at the FGS Auditorium. Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara VSV, USP, psc, MMaritimePol, BSc(DS) the Vice Chancellor, graced this occasion as the Chief Guest and warmly greeted all the new students and delivered an insightful welcome address. The Deputy Vice Chancellor Defence and Administration, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, Deans, Directors, Academic staff members of the Faculty of Management and Social Sciences, Senior Administrative officers of KDU, representatives from the Tomorrow Technology Education Service Centre (TTESC), and 22 students of the MBA Programme from China, attended this event.

The one year Master of Business Administration Degree programme is a significant milestone in our commitment to providing a global education experience. This programme is initiated in collaboration with TTESC and the aim at this programme is to equip the students with the knowledge, skills and cultural understanding that are necessary to excel in the international business arena.
