The 35^th General Convocation 2024 was held on the 14^th and 15^th of October 2024 at the BMICH. A total of 335 Graduands from the Faculty of Graduate Studies were conferred with various degrees and Postgraduate Diploma by General SHS Kottegoda (Retd) WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc. the Chancellor of the university. Among them 03 received the Doctor of Philosophy degree, 282 received Master’s degrees, 19 received Bachelor’s degrees, and 31 received Post Graduate Diplomas.

LCdr RAKC Udayanga was awarded the trophy for the best overall performance in the MBA in E Governance degree programme, Ms BMAHH Balasuriya was awarded the trophy for the best overall performance in the Master of Laws in International Law degree programme and Ms PK Katulanda was awarded the trophy for the best overall performance in the Master of Laws in Business Law degree programme. Secretary of Ministry of Defence, Air Vice Marshal H.S Sampath Thuyacontha (Retd) WWV, RWP and two Bars, RSP and Bar, USP, MMSc (Strat Stu – China), MSc (Def Stu) in Mgt, MSc (Def & Strat Stu), fndu (China), psc graced the final Session of the convocation as the Chief Guest. The Chief of Defense Staff, the Tri-Forces Commanders, distinguished invitees and the family members of the graduates were among the invitees at the occasion.
